Chris Murdy has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Chris started their career at Panasonic North America as a Broadcast Systems Technician, where they were responsible for product repair, technical support, sales support, and quality control. Chris then moved on to Torstar Corporation, where they held various roles including IT & Database Support and Senior Support Specialist. At Torstar, Chris provided support for distribution and market targeting applications, conducted user training, and played a key role in a large project to satisfy specific regulations. Following Torstar, Chris joined Tecoustics Limited as a Technical Project Manager, providing engineering and design support for noise, vibration, and seismic engineering projects. Most recently, Chris has been working at Envision, where they have held several leadership roles including Manager, Technology and Systems, Director of Technology, Head of Digital and Innovation, and currently Head of Design, Engineering and Technology.
Chris Murdy attended Niagara College of Applied Arts and Technology from 2003 to 2006, where they obtained a degree in Broadcasting (Film and Broadcast Technology) - OCAD. In 2006, they also received a certification in Film Industry Orientation from IATSE 873. In 2008, Chris obtained a certification in ITIL Foundations v2 from Loyalist College Certification Services. Chris later attended Sheridan College from 2012 to 2013, where they earned a Certificate in Project Management.
