Ryan Kandell

Ryan Kandell has held various positions in the event management industry. Ryan has served as a Director of Operations at Envision Festival, where they managed all aspects of the event's operational plan, budgeting, and infrastructure. Ryan also oversaw a team of 400+ employees.

Ryan has also worked as a Technical Operations Manager at Do LaB, Inc., where they were responsible for managing power and fuel operations for Lightning in a Bottle Festival. Ryan handled procurement, design, installation, and strike of power infrastructure, as well as fuel vendor management.

In addition, Ryan has experience as a Director of Operations at Dirtybird, CEO at Mindful Massive (a logistics and technology company), Technical Operations Manager at Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival, Operations Department Specialist at Full Spektrum Artist and Production Management, Power and Fuel Manager at Symbiosis Events LLC, Production Manager at Enchanted Forest Gathering, and Site Services Manager at Lucidity Festival.

Throughout their career, Ryan has demonstrated expertise in production management, event logistics, volunteer coordination, and power infrastructure management.

Ryan Kandell attended Northern Arizona University from 2003 to 2008, where they pursued a degree in Arts Management with a focus on Business Administration and Management. Ryan also holds additional certifications in Covid-19 Mass Gathering risk assessment and compliance from the World Health Organization, obtained in 2021, and as a Fork Lift Operator certified by OSHA, obtained in 2015.
