Cmpp Tiha M Long

Tiha M Long, PhD CMPP has extensive work experience in scientific and medical writing, research, editing, and strategic partnerships. Tiha M is currently working as a Scientific Director at Envision Pharma Group since June 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Associate Scientific Director from July 2022 to June 2023 and Medical Writer from 2021 to July 2022 at the same company.

Before joining Envision Pharma Group, Tiha worked at Morphology Visuals as a Science Writer, Editor, and Visual Communicator from 2019 to 2022.

From 2016 to 2021, Tiha worked at UChicago Medicine, where they served as the Lead Science/Medical Writer & Director for Strategic Research Partnerships and as an Oncology Fellow for Publications and Medical Communications.

In 2015, Tiha worked as a Biomedical Research Fellow for Publications at the University of Maryland. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2014, they served as a Graduate Research Fellow for Publications at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.

Tiha M Long, PhD CMPP has a strong educational background in molecular medicine, cancer biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, and bioinformatics. Tiha M earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Molecular Medicine/Cancer Biology from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, where they studied from 2009 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, and Bioinformatics from Towson University, where they attended from 2006 to 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Tiha M Long has also acquired several certifications to enhance their professional skills. Tiha M obtained the Certified Medical Publication Professional™ certification from the ISMPP (International Society for Medical Publication Professionals) in April 2021. Tiha M also completed the Essentials of Patient-Oriented Research (EPOR) program offered by the Institute for Translational Medicine in April 2021. Furthermore, they earned the Social Media Marketing Foundations certification through LinkedIn in November 2020.
