Andy Wein

Andy Wein is the current Director of DevOps at Envision Technology Partners. Andy has previous experience working as a DevOps Systems Engineer at Motivity Solutions from December 2015 to June 2017 and as a Systems Engineer at Travelport from August 2006 to December 2015.

As a Systems Engineer, Wein was responsible for the administration and management of IT automation systems. Andy developed dozens of automation solutions for various in-house departments using the Symantec Workflow IT automation suite. Andy also created, managed, and developed hundreds of database tables and stored procedures to support various tools while incorporating PowerShell scripting into these automation tools.

Wein assisted in the deployment of corporate desktop images for Windows 7 and 10 by developing scripts to automate the deployment process and customize images for end user use. Andy also developed and maintained automation systems to facilitate identity management throughout the enterprise by tying together HR Oracle databases, Active Directory, and Facilities databases to provide synchronization of accurate employee data throughout the organization.

Andy Wein obtained a BS in Electrical Engineering from Rice University.
