María Moreno

María Moreno has an extensive career in communications and public affairs, starting as a Communications Leadership Program participant at General Electric in 2004. María went on to work in various roles at GE, Momentive Performance Materials, and GE Water & Process Technologies. María then transitioned to roles at GE Capital and later Capital One before becoming a Senior Director at Enviva in 2019, eventually rising to the position of Vice President in 2023. María has demonstrated leadership and expertise in the field throughout their career.

María Moreno completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Rutgers Business School from 2011 to 2013. María also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Marketing from the University of Maryland. In addition, María completed a Social Media Management Certificate at Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies in 2017-2018. María has also pursued continuing education in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs at New York University. During their academic journey, they attended Colegio Internacional de Caracas, American Overseas School of Rome, and Chateau Mont Choisi for high school and junior high school. Additionally, María obtained a Social Media Management Certification from Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies in 2018 and also holds a certification in Six Sigma.
