Municipal Sweeping Team Lead / Robotics Software Engineer at ENWAY

Adi Vardi has a diverse work experience spanning from 2015 to present. In 2015, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) and completed Machining Training at ETML, Ecole technique Ecole des métiers, Lausanne. In 2016, they interned at CSEM, where they worked on teaching robots assembly tasks. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at Dorabot Inc., first as a Robotics Software Engineer and then as Mobile Robots Tech Lead. Currently, they are working at ENWAY as the Municipal Sweeping Team Lead / Robotics Software Engineer. In this role, they are responsible for leading the team responsible for developing a street sweeper and supporting the development of a private grounds sweeper in Berlin. Adi has also successfully passed the government's Milestone 1 test allowing autonomous driving on the public roads. Adi is also developing algorithms for curb cleaning using two different approaches, and is responsible for all mechanical design and collaborating with a local partner for maintenance and mechanical work.

Adi Vardi began their educational journey in 2012, when they enrolled at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) for a Bachelor of Science degree in Micro-Engineering. Adi graduated from EPFL in 2015, and then went on to complete an exchange year at Nanyang Technological University Singapore, where they studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In 2015, Adi Vardi returned to EPFL and completed a Master of Science degree in Micro-Engineering, Robotics, and Automation Engineering in 2017.
