Miguel Saramago

With more than 15 years’ industry experience, Miguel is an accomplished leader and knowledge practitioner in the field of distributed generation.

A former investment banker and CEO and CFO of renewables businesses, Miguel has successfully overseen and delivered renewable energy financial deals and investment structures with major industry players including BNP Paribas, Hanwha and TPG.

During his career he has worked in Europe and Latin America, plus served as a Board Advisor on the Brazil Renewable International Energy Congress.

Miguel holds a degree in Economics from the Nova School of Business and Economics, a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance from the ISCTE Business School in Lisbon and a Project Finance certification in the UK.
