Michael Burz is the current President & CEO at EnZinc Inc. Prior to this, they were the President at carV3 Inc from January 2008 to December 2009. Michael has also held the position of VP, Innovation and Manufacturing at CSC from January 1996 to December 2008.
At carV3 Inc, Michael founded an advanced design engineering firm to evaluate electric car systems requirements combining aerospace, automotive, and computer technologies. The results of the systems engineering and business/market analysis led to the formation of EnZinc.
As VP, Innovation and Manufacturing at CSC, Michael was responsible for leading executives tasked with defining the strategy and setting up the Global Manufacturing Vertical, a new business unit for the Aerospace/Defense and Automotive markets. Michael also led the team that captured $850m computer services to the US Agency for International Development (USAID). In addition, as Vice President for New Business Development, they re-established a Defense presence for Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) within the UK Ministry of Defense for logistics, command battlespace management, and intelligence. This resulted in a $25m contract to provide an integrated IT architecture for NATO’s Allied Rapid Reaction Corps HQ modernization plan.
In their role as Vice President for Strategy and Innovation, Michael designed, implemented, and managed a Strategic Programme Office (SPO) to support CSC’s largest client BAE Systems. The SPO delivered enterprise level programs to include the Global Infrastructure Programme (a common global e-mail and collaboration infrastructure), the e-business communication infrastructure, the e-trading business
