Rob Robinson

Rob Robinson is an accomplished exploration professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Exploration - International at EOG Resources since 1998, Rob has also held the position of Exploration Manager for the Offshore Division. Prior to EOG Resources, Rob worked at Equitable Resources, Inc. (EQT) from 1992 to 1998 as Exploration Manager in the Houston division, focusing on Gulf Coast, offshore, and international projects. Rob's career began at Triton Energy as a New Ventures Geologist and included a tenure as Project Exploration Geologist with Houston Oil & Min / Tenneco Oil Co., contributing to various projects across the Gulf Coast, offshore, and South America. Rob holds a degree from The University of Texas at Austin, where education was completed from 1976 to 1980.
