Junie Del Mundo has a comprehensive work experience spanning several decades. Junie is currently the Chief Executive of EON, a Stakeholder Relations Firm that they founded in 1998. Under their leadership, EON has become the first and most influential firm of its kind in the Philippines, prioritizing trust-based relationships. In addition to their role at EON, Junie Del Mundo was elected as a Governor of the Management Association of the Philippines in 2014. Prior to their work at EON, they served as a Director for the Asia-Europe Foundation, the APEC National Organizing Committee, and the Office of ASEAN Affairs. Junie Del Mundo also held the position of First Secretary and Consul at the Embassy of the Philippines in Paris. In 1982, they worked as a Senior Staff Officer at the Office of the Prime Minister, where they were responsible for coordinating the Philippine participation in the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea.

Junie Del Mundo's education history includes a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of the Philippines. Junie also attended the George Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, where they obtained a Fellow degree in Foreign Service. Junie Del Mundo further pursued their education at the Institut catholique de Paris, although the specific degree obtained is unknown. Lastly, they completed a Master of Arts degree at Northern Illinois University, specializing in Political Science, International Relations, Comparative Government and Politics, with a focus on Southeast Asia.
