Andreas Franzén

Andreas Franz is a seasoned professional in the fields of art restoration and cultural heritage conservation, possessing over three decades of expertise. As the founder and CEO of DiVisual® GmbH since 1998, Andreas has developed tools for fine art documentation. Concurrently, Andreas serves as CEO of Aaf restaurierungen Gmbh, specializing in the conservation and restoration of paintings and polychrome sculptures. A fully trained restorer, Andreas holds a degree in Conservation-Restoration from the University of Applied Sciences Bern, where experience also includes serving as an assistant. Leadership experience includes a presidency at the SKR Schweizerischer Verband für Konservierung und Restaurierung, focusing on strategic planning and administration. Additionally, Andreas engaged in promoting Canadian sports through Blue Planet Canoe Imports and led restoration projects for the Swiss Institute for Art Research. Education at Zurich University of the Arts contributed to a solid foundation in the field.
