Ian P.

Ian P. is an experienced Network Engineer currently employed at EPB since February 2020, specializing in BGP edge, MPLS distribution, and PON access network infrastructures while collaborating closely with the Security team to enhance network configurations. Ian previously worked at Uniti Fiber as both an IP Engineer and Operations Engineer, focusing on upgrading routers, engineering core IP backbones, and ensuring the stability of enterprise circuits. Prior experience includes roles as Access Engineer and Network Operations Center Technician at Southern Light, where Ian designed network diagrams, supported customer installations, and served as the first point of contact for network incidents. Ian holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems with a Networking Focus from the University of South Alabama.
