Kristia Underwood

Kristia Underwood has extensive experience in education and mental health, currently serving as a Teacher at Epic Charter Schools since July 2021, focusing on one-on-one instruction. Previous roles include positions at Grand Lake Mental Health Center, Inc. as CM II/BHRS/WC, and as a Child Welfare Specialist II with the Oklahoma Department of Human Services. Kristia has also held various teaching positions, including Adjunct Instructor at Tulsa Community College and Mathematics and Science Teacher at both K12 and Thoreau Demonstration Academy. Additional experience includes serving as Summer Faculty Advisor and High School Teacher at Tulsa Public Schools, and teaching at Bixby Public Schools. Prior to pursuing a career in education, Kristia worked as a Technical Analyst and provided technical support at Sabre Holdings. Kristia holds a Master of Education in Secondary School Administration/Principalship and a B.S.Ed. in Education from Northeastern State University.
