Jake Baet is an accomplished FX Artist with extensive experience in the gaming industry, currently serving as the Lead FX Artist at Psyonix since July 2014, where leadership of a small team and management of outsourcing FX teams occur. Prior roles include Senior FX Artist and FX Artist, contributing significantly to the creation of goal explosions, rocket boosts, supersonic trails, and animated wheels for the popular game Rocket League. Earlier experiences include FX Artist positions at FXVille and Emotional Robots Inc., Associate FX Artist at High Moon Studios, and a brief tenure as a QA Tester at MEDL Mobile. Educationally, Jake Baet holds a degree in Visual & Game Programming with a focus on FX & Technical Art from the Art Institute of California-Orange County, complemented by an Associate in Science in Computer Programming from Cypress College.
