Lauren Callen

Lauren Callen is an experienced theatre educator currently serving as a Theatre Teacher at Capital Area School for the Arts Charter School since August 2022. With a strong background as a Teaching Artist and Supervisor for EPIC Players Inclusion Company, Lauren has been dedicated to providing inclusive insights for over seven years, focusing on the developmental needs of students and facilitating main stage productions. Additionally, Lauren has contributed as a Program Assistant, implementing inclusive programming in K-12 settings and engaging with neurodivergent students. As an Acting Coach, Lauren specializes in mentoring artists with developmental disabilities, enhancing their performance skills through targeted strategies. Educational credentials include a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from Pace University, a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from Adelphi University, and a certificate in Classical Theatre from Fordham University.
