Szilard Toth has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Szilard is currently serving as the CTO and Co-Founder of e·pilot GmbH since October 2017. Prior to this, they worked as a Photographer at Szilard Toth Photography, capturing city and landscapes, starting from July 2011.

From March 2014, they co-founded and worked as a Software Engineer and Product Manager at Mad Labs UG, an indie game studio. Here, they developed and managed the Blackboard Madness: Math, a casual iOS math learning game. Szilard handled product conceptualization, user research, and defined specifications. With over 13,000 lines of code written in Objective-C, they utilized frameworks like Cocos2D and Box2D.

In July 2015, they joined Atlassian as a Product Manager and later transitioned to a Senior Product Manager role in July 2016. At Atlassian, they contributed to product planning and strategy.

Prior to this, they worked at Solactive as the Head of Product Development from April 2014 to December 2014 and as an Index Product Manager from January 2012 to March 2014. Here, they played a key role in product development and management.

Furthermore, they worked as a Freelance Software Engineer at mSALES GmbH from October 2008 to November 2009. Szilard had an internship at Goldman Sachs in the Securities Division from November 2007 to April 2008 and another internship at Daimler in the Logistics Department from May 2007 to August 2007. Additionally, they worked as a Teaching Assistant and Tutor at AIFB Karlsruhe from October 2005 to March 2007.

Szilard Toth pursued their education chronologically starting with their high school studies at Wilhelm von Oranien Schule from 1996 to 2004. During this time, they focused on subjects such as Mathematics, English, Computer Science, and Physics.

Following their high school graduation, Szilard enrolled in Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, exploring the field of Financial Engineering and Computer Science from 2004 to 2011. This course of study ultimately awarded him a Diploma in Business Administration and Engineering.

During the academic year 2001 to 2002, Szilard took an opportunity to broaden their knowledge by attending Deerfield Academy. This experience allowed him to delve into various subjects like Computer Science, Math, Physics, and English, enhancing their expertise in these areas.
