Ken Schroeder has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Ken started their career as a Process Engineer at Kodak in 1989 before moving on to Conestoga-Rovers & Associates (CRA) as a Project Engineer in 1990. From 1992 to 2001, Ken worked at Huntsman, progressing from a Process Engineer to an Environmental and Industrial Hygiene Manager. Ken gained experience in hazardous materials management and project management during this time. Ken then joined Tenneco as a 6Sigma Black Belt in 2001 before transitioning to Maple Leaf Foods as a Six Sigma Black Belt in 2002. In 2007, they became the Manager of Continuous Improvement at ShawCor before joining Vale as the Manager of Asset Management in 2008. Ken's consulting career started in 2013 when they established SCH Consulting Inc., providing Lean and 6sigma process improvement consulting services to various industries such as mining, oil and gas, and power generation. Ken joined Epiroc in 2018 as a Digital Product Manager and later took on roles such as Sales and Business Development Manager and Global Digital Marketing and Sales Manager-Parts and Services Division. Currently, they hold the position of Lead Reliability Engineer at Epiroc.
Ken Schroeder earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Queen's University in the years 1984 to 1989. Ken later pursued a Master of Engineering degree in Engineering at Western University from 1996 to 1998. In 2019 to 2020, they obtained a Certificate in Mining Technologies from Queen's University, specializing in Mining and Mineral Engineering.
