Tetsuya Mitani has worked in the software engineering field since 2009. Tetsuya began their career at Sony as a Backend Software Engineer and Embedded Software Engineer. During their time there, they developed software platforms for Sony's medical printer series and also developed products using this platform. Tetsuya also developed embedded software, including foundational classes for the application layer, USB device driver, memory management, and OS wrapper. In 2017, they moved to Belgium to work as a Software Engineer at eSATURNUS, a tech startup. At eSATURNUS, they developed a digital operating room platform as a member of an agile/scrum team, mainly focused on the backend application but also involved in web frontend. In 2022, they joined Episode Six as a Senior Software Engineer.
Tetsuya Mitani obtained their Master's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Tokyo Metropolitan University from 2003 to 2009. In 2015 and 2016, they attended Tokyo Women's Medical University for their Bio-Medical Curriculum. In 2020, they obtained a TOEIC L/R 905 certification from the TOEIC Program.
