Mike Straatman

Mike Straatman is an experienced System Engineer currently working at EPITEC since February 2022, focusing on migrating Windows Servers from the Hyper-V environment to Nutanix AOS and implementing that environment. Prior to EPITEC, Mike served as a Sr. Systems Engineer at Tech Mahindra from December 2019 to December 2021, providing Tier 3 support for Windows Servers for Jackson National Life Insurance. From July 2008 to December 2019, Mike held the position of Windows Server Engineer II at Jackson, offering Tier 3 support and managing an ESXi multi-datacenter vSphere environment. Mike began the career as a Senior Network/Systems Administrator at Follett from August 1999 to June 2008, overseeing daily operations of a complex Windows client/server environment across multiple data centers.
