Andreas Hochberger has extensive work experience in various senior marketing roles within the life sciences industry. Andreas began their career at Bio-Rad Laboratories in 1993 as a Marketing Manager for Life Sciences in Central Europe. Andreas then transitioned to Bio-Rad Laboratories as the Division Manager for Food Science in the Central European region. In 2007, they joined GE Healthcare, where they held multiple leadership positions, including Sales and Marketing Leader for EMEA and Executive Director for Global Strategic Accounts. In 2013, they joined QIAGEN as the Vice President and Head of Global Market Management for Life Sciences, overseeing global marketing activities and driving business growth. In 2015, they moved to Eppendorf AG and held various roles, including Vice President for Global Portfolio Management Marketing and Vice President for Operational Marketing. Andreas is currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Head of Global Marketing at Eppendorf AG. Additionally, they have served as a board member for the LSR-Fachabteilung Life Science Research im VDGH. Throughout their career, Andreas has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic marketing expertise, and a focus on customer centricity and marketing automation.
Andreas Hochberger has a diverse education history. In 1982, they began their studies at the Technical University of Munich, majoring in Microbiology and minoring in Biochemistry, Immunology, and Genetics. Andreas completed their studies in 1985, earning a degree of Dipl.Biol. After several years, they further pursued their education and obtained a doctoral degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München between 1989 and 1991. In 2015, they attended Harvard Business School for a short period, focusing on Finance with a specialization in FSE, although no field of study was specified.
