Dan Tran

Dan Tran has worked at four different companies in chronological order, starting from 2019. Dan began their work experience as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of California, Merced, where they calibrated hydrological models to predict water resources, simulated climate change scenarios on hydrological models, and developed geospatial analysis solutions to classify plots. In 2020, they joined Capital One as an Associate Software Engineer and later became a Senior Associate Software Engineer, contributing to software engineering projects. In 2022, they moved to Microsoft as a Software Engineer and worked there until May 2023. From June 2023, they will join Epsilon3 as a Software Engineer.

Dan Tran attended the University of California, Merced from 2016 to 2019, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Since then, they have obtained several additional certifications including Building RESTful APIs with Node.js and Express from LinkedIn in August 2020, AWS Essential Training for Developers from LinkedIn in February 2020, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2021.
