Oliver Nelson

Oliver Nelson is an experienced public protection manager with a robust background in environmental health and community safety. Currently serving at Epsom & Ewell Borough Council since April 2018, Oliver manages a range of regulatory and enforcement services including public health, pollution control, food safety, and antisocial behaviour. Prior to this role, Oliver held positions at Epsom & Ewell Borough Council as Environmental Health Team Leader and Environmental Health Officer, leading teams and managing contracts related to food hygiene, health and safety, and pollution control. Oliver's expertise is further supported by educational qualifications, including a Level 6 Diploma in Public Service Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute and a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Health from the University of Greenwich. Additionally, Oliver contributed to the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health as Surrey Branch Secretary and worked as an Environmental Health Enforcement Officer at Spelthorne Borough Council.
