Chris Rooney

Chris Rooney is a seasoned engineering executive with extensive experience in leading teams and driving product development across various sectors. Since June 2016, Chris has served as Vice President of Engineering at Equal Experts, overseeing mobile and cloud-based product design and delivery. Prior to this role, Chris held the same title at Amplify from November 2012 to May 2016, where responsibilities included managing hardware engineering for custom Android devices. Previous positions include Mobile Solution Architect at Equal Experts, Technical Product Manager at Skype, Online Product Manager at Telstra, Business Analyst at Sensis, Software Engineer/Business Analyst at National Australia Bank, and Consultant/Software Engineering Manager at EDS. Chris began the career as a Software Engineer at Telstra in 1998, amassing a wealth of knowledge and skills in both engineering and product management.
