Cymone Fuller

Senior Director, Restorative Justice at Equal Justice USA

Cymone Fuller has a diverse work experience spanning from 2010 to the present. They currently hold the position of Senior Director for the Restorative Justice Project at Equal Justice USA, where they have been working since 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Director for the Restorative Justice Project at Impact Justice from 2021 to 2023. Cymone has also worked as an Adjunct Professor at John Jay College (CUNY) from 2019 to 2022 and as a Senior Associate at Columbia Justice Lab from 2019 to 2021. Their most extensive role was at the Vera Institute of Justice, where they held various positions, including Senior Program Associate and Program Associate, from 2015 to 2019. They have also worked at New York University as a Diversity and Inclusion Graduate Researcher and Grant Writer, as well as a Graduate Assistant for NYU Opportunity Programs. Cymone's earliest work experience was as a Race Equity Program Coordinator at the Minnesota Minority Education Partnership. They began their career as a Research Assistant at the Council on Crime and Justice in 2010.

Cymone Fuller has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Minnesota, which was obtained from 2008 to 2012. Following that, they pursued a Master of Public Administration degree in Public Nonprofit Management and Policy from NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service from 2014 to 2016. Cymone also completed continuing education courses in Organizational Change Management and Learning Design at NYU School of Professional Studies until 2019. In 2016, they obtained additional certification in Protecting Human Research Participants from The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Office of Extramural Research.
