Angie Palacios Coello is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in gender and transport, currently serving as Principal Executive in the Transport Unit at CAF - banco de desarrollo de América Latina since November 2012. With a focus on gender mainstreaming in urban mobility, Angie has coordinated impactful research and pilot programs while managing partnerships and supporting client offices. Previously, Angie held multiple roles within CAF, including Public and Private Sector Executive and involvement in the Young Professionals Program (PRODES). Angie's expertise also extends to academia, with a teaching role at Columbia University and guest lectures at MITx, as well as consultancy work on monitoring and evaluation systems and strategic planning across various organizations. Angie holds a Master’s Degree in Economic and Political Development from Columbia SIPA and has completed the GenderPro Capacity Building Program at The George Washington University.
