James Simcox

James Simcox has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. James started their career at Jack Wills as a Supervisor before transitioning to Procter & Gamble, where they worked as a Business Analyst. At Procter & Gamble, they gained experience in data analysis and range optimization.

Simcox then joined Herbert Smith Freehills as a Vacation Student, where they were exposed to intellectual property and commercial property law. James also had the opportunity to produce client reports and provide advice based on court judgments.

Afterward, Simcox returned to Procter & Gamble as a Business Analyst, focusing on BI and technology projects for the UK Health & Beauty team. James generated reports and dashboards using Excel, proprietary tools, and Spotfire, and made data-driven recommendations to Sainsbury's.

Simcox then joined UCLU EFS as a Design Director and Marketing Executive, responsible for creating external-facing media such as websites and newsletters. James managed social platforms and amassed a sizable following.

Simcox regularly gathered requirements, developed solutions, and presented business cases to the board.

Currently, Simcox is working at Equals Money as the Group Chief Product Officer & Managing Director - International. Prior to this, they held roles such as Chief Product Officer and Head of Integrations & Platform Delivery.

James Simcox completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Sciences at UCL from 2012 to 2015, with a focus on Bio-Medical Sciences and Synthetic Organic Chemistry. In addition, James has obtained several certifications, including First Aid at Work from Qualsafe Awards in April 2017, Men's Lacrosse Referee from the English Lacrosse Association in 2013, and Level 2 Award in Basic Expedition Leadership from Sports Leaders UK in 2011.
