Phillip Legard has extensive work experience in various roles related to information security, infrastructure, and cyber security. Phillip currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at Equator, where they are responsible for overseeing the organization's security initiatives. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Infrastructure & Cyber Analyst at Equator, bringing their expertise in infrastructure design and cyber security to analyze systems and development methodologies across different sectors.

Phillip was involved in improving application delivery mechanisms, ensuring connectivity of Smartmeter components, and managing the design and deployment of infrastructure.

Furthermore, Phillip served as a Senior Security Consultant at The ECA Group & ECA Group International, where they reverse-engineered security, application, and infrastructure requirements and mapped them back to the design for assurance purposes. Phillip also worked as a Technical Design Authority at Logica, leading the technical move of infrastructure for Northern Gas Networks and contributing to the design, build, and documentation of virtual and physical infrastructure.

Prior to this, Phillip was a Transformation Consultant at Hewlett-Packard, where they described and documented delivery processes and procedures for the ATLAS program. Phillip also worked as a Workpackage/Delivery Manager at Fujitsu, leading teams to design and deliver document and event management solutions for the MOD. Additionally, they managed the delivery of the ATLAS Interoperability Gateways project, providing messaging services to MOD allies and coalitions.

Phillip's early career included working as a Communications Director & Principal Writer at Say What Ltd, an indie production company specializing in TV production.
