Tirthankar "Titu" Bhowmick

Tirthankar "Titu" Bhowmick has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles and companies.

Tirthankar "Titu" started their career in 2000 at AurionPro Solutions Pvt. Ltd. where they worked as a Programmer. During their time there, they developed Tomcat based java web applications for ERP solutions and led the development of a web-based banking application in Java for HDFC.

In 2004, they joined First-tek Consulting as a Programmer Analyst, where they worked until June 2005.

From June 2005 to November 2007, Titu worked at Exilant Consulting as a Programmer Analyst.

After that, they joined Apple Inc. as a Contractor, developing a wireless retail POS application and leading the development for a Java based HR application. Tirthankar "Titu" worked at Apple Inc. until November 2007.

In 2007, they joined Equilar as a Senior Software Engineer. Their responsibilities included designing and developing Java and JEE applications, integrating with clients, developing e-commerce solutions, and extracting structured data from different sources. Tirthankar "Titu" also contributed to the hiring process, documented product specs and engineering tutorials, and identified software and hardware vendors for solutions.

From December 2010 to October 2016, Titu worked at Equilar as a Technical Lead Developer. In this role, they led the design and development of API and data platform teams, supporting multiple products within the company. Tirthankar "Titu" also developed Java/Javascript based products with global Agile teams and led a Saas product from concept to production.

From October 2016 onwards, they have been working as the Director of Engineering at Equilar. In this leadership position, they are responsible for leading, designing, and executing the engineering needs of Equilar's data and suite of products. Tirthankar "Titu" manages multiple teams of engineers, who are responsible for the data and APIs supporting all product teams at Equilar, the BoardEdge website, and the Equilar app. Notably, they led the development team of the world's first one-click Salesforce solution.

Tirthankar "Titu" Bhowmick completed their Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Doctor Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University in 2000. Tirthankar "Titu" then pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Florida International University, which they successfully obtained in 2004.
