Director, Product Manager

Team Overview 
As Product Manager for EquiLend Spire, you will take full ownership of the strategic direction and growth of our flagship books and records platform, tailored for the securities finance industry. In this highly influential role, you will lead a team of Product Owners and be responsible for the platform’s full lifecycle management, ensuring it continues to offer cutting-edge solutions, including workflow automation, real-time data integration, and seamless connectivity with market vendors and systems, including the broader EquiLend suite. 

This pivotal role reports directly to the senior management team and is critical in driving operational efficiencies and ensuring our clients stay ahead in a competitive market. Your leadership will be key to shaping the future of EquiLend Spire and the securities finance industry at large.

Role Responsibilities 

• Responsible for the overall vision and direction of the EquiLend Spire product.
• Lead the strategic direction for EquiLend Spire, ensuring product roadmaps and development plans are aligned with market trends and client needs.
• Collaborate with C-level executives and cross-functional teams to define product vision, ensuring Spire integrates seamlessly with EquiLend's suite (e.g., NGT, DataLend) and third-party platforms.
• Drive product development from ideation through execution, focusing on workflow automation, real-time data processing, scalability, and risk management solutions.
• Lead and mentor a team of Product Owners and Business Analysts, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Represent EquiLend Spire at industry events, promoting its capabilities and staying abreast of industry trends to ensure our solutions are market-leading.
• Willingness to travel to key office locations globally as and when required.
• Prioritize the product backlog, ensuring a balance between stakeholder input, client feedback, and technical feasibility to deliver high-impact product increments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring the product meets client expectations and market demands.
• Analyze product performance, using data-driven insights to drive enhancements, meet revenue objectives, and improve client satisfaction.
• Initiate and maintain TAM/SAM/SOM analysis per product line. 

• 15+ years of relevant commercial experience in product management, with a proven track record in global leadership roles, demonstrating excellent leadership abilities with experience in the Capital Markets Books and Records space.
• Deep expertise in market analysis, with the ability to understand market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs to drive product strategy effectively.
• Experienced in creating and managing strategic product roadmaps tooling ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Proficiency in data-driven decision-making, utilizing advanced analytics tools to inform product decisions and measure success.
• Strong cross-functional leadership, capable of managing and inspiring teams, including Product Owners, Business Analysts, and SMEs across different geographies.
• Mastery of agile methodologies, with a history of leading agile transformations within product management teams, ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of product initiatives.
• Expertise in stakeholder management, particularly in building relationships with C-level executives, key clients, and senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment between product strategies and business goals.
• A strong customer-centric focus, with a history of delivering products that exceed client expectations and drive customer satisfaction.
• Skilled at identifying, assessing, and mitigating strategic risks associated with product development and market entry, ensuring the longevity and success of products.
• Committed to continuous improvement within the product management function, staying updated with the latest industry trends, and implementing best practices.
• Exceptional leadership skills, capable of managing cross-functional global teams and fostering innovation across departments.
• Proven track record of building strong relationships with C-level executives, stakeholders, and key clients.
• Experience leading a Product Team within a Fintech environment in Securities Lending or Capital Markets is highly desired.
