Dan is Equilibrium’s Corporate Controller. In this role, he is responsible for corporate accounting and financial reporting, regulatory filings, policies, and internal controls. He is also responsible for the corporate budgets, financial planning and analysis.
Prior to Equilibrium, Dan was a controller at BentallGreenOak US LP, an institutional real estate investment manager, where he was responsible for all technical accounting and audits and led the accounting and financial reporting for separate account clients. He previously was an accounting manager for KQED, Inc., a public television and radio station based in San Francisco. Dan brings over fifteen years of experience with technical accounting and financial reporting. He began his career in public accounting and was an auditor at RSM in Chicago and San Francisco, where he managed audit teams for investment companies and non-profits, gaining experience with a variety of fund structures.
Dan holds a B.S. with a double major in Accounting and Management Information Systems from DePaul University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
