Derrick Elefante

Derrick Elefante is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in talent acquisition, strategic sourcing, and logistics management. Currently serving as the Senior Strategic Sourcing Lead at Equinix, Derrick has successfully led diversity, equity, and inclusion sourcing initiatives, exceeding goals through the establishment of key partnerships. Prior to this, Derrick held various leadership roles in the US Navy, including Talent Acquisition Senior Manager and Sourcing Director, where responsibilities encompassed talent acquisition across diverse geographies and mentorship of recruiting specialists. Derrick also has experience as an entrepreneur, owning an online retail store, and has a solid background in operations management from a tenure at FedEx Ground. Derrick holds an Associate's degree in Accounting from Everest College.
