Ellen Katrine Jensen has extensive experience in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) disciplines, currently serving as Chief Engineer for Health and Working Environment at Equinor since May 2018 and as an Associate Professor II at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) since January 2017. Previously, Ellen held multiple roles at Statoil from September 2003 to May 2018, including Chief Engineer, Advisor, Lead Researcher, and Leading Advisor in Industrial Hygiene, with a focus on technology development and industrial hygiene networks. Ellen's career began as a Senior Consultant in HSE at DNV Group and encompassed a PhD and research fellowship at NTNU in industrial economics and technology management, following a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from NTNU.
