Frank Aanvik

Frank Aanvik is an experienced geophysicist and operations executive, currently serving as Vice President of Operations and Vice President of Project Management and Control at Equinor since May 2018. Prior roles include various leadership positions at Statoil from 1998 to April 2020, where Frank Aanvik managed the petroleum technology department for the Snorre Field and held responsibilities as Chief Geophysicist and Project Manager. Early career experience includes working as a Research Scientist at Telenor R&D, focusing on mobile network development. Frank Aanvik holds a Master's degree from the University of Oslo, with a specialization in mathematics, computer science, signal processing, and image processing.
