Matthew Brotmann is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector and international law. Currently serving as Senior Counsel for Renewables at Equinor since October 2019, Matthew plays a critical role in developing the company's Renewables portfolio. Prior to this, a significant tenure as Adjunct Professor and Director at Pace Law School involved advising on international criminal law and environmental law. Matthew's experience also includes serving as Principal Attorney at the New York Power Authority, focusing on clean energy initiatives and complex legal matters, and roles at MTA Bridges and Tunnels, B4 Strategic Solutions, the New York Office of the Attorney General, and the Westchester County District Attorney's Office. Matthew holds a JD in International/Environmental Law from Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University and a BA in History from Denison University, along with a certificate in Foreign Policy from Oxford University.
