Patrick Wilkinson

Patrick Wilkinson is an experienced legal professional with a robust background in the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as Lead Counsel at Equinor since August 2019, Patrick supports international and UKCS projects as part of the upstream legal team. Previously, Patrick held the position of Lawyer in Oil & Gas at CMS UK, where secondments to Nexen (now CNOOC International) and Equinor provided valuable insights into the industry. Earlier roles include Trainee Solicitor with diverse experience across Construction, Energy Disputes, and Corporate law, as well as Legal Assistant at RWE Dea UK Ltd, where Patrick specialized in drafting and reviewing a variety of industry contracts. Educational credentials include a LPC and GDL from BPP Law School, along with a degree in Hispanic Studies and History from the University of Nottingham and additional studies at the University of Havana and Universidad de las Américas Puebla.
