Samuel Byrne

Samuel Byrne currently serves as Vice President of Operations for Renewables Americas at Equinor, a position held since September 2023. Prior to this role, Byrne was with Vestas from December 2016 to September 2023, where responsibilities included Vice President of Service for Asia Pacific and Director of Corporate Strategy, M&A and New Ventures, among other leadership positions. Earlier experience includes work at McKinsey & Company as a Senior Associate and Summer Associate, focusing on strategy and operational challenges in various sectors, as well as a role as a Graduate Economist at the United States Department of the Treasury. Byrne's career began with management experience at the Peace Corps from 2009 to 2011. Educational credentials include a B.A. in Economics from Yale University and an M.A. in International Economics and International Relations from The Johns Hopkins University.
