Amanda Yang Li

Amanda Yang Li, CPA, CGA has extensive work experience in the field of taxation. Amanda Yang'smost recent role is as the Director of Tax at Equinox Gold Corp. where they started in 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Tax Manager at SSR Mining Inc. from 2014 to 2022. Amanda Yang also held various positions at Ernst & Young LLP, including Senior Tax Manager, Tax Manager, and Senior Tax Staff, where they gained experience in preparing tax returns, conducting tax audits, and providing tax advisory services to multinational companies. Amanda began their career at PwC as a Senior Associate, specializing in personal tax services for expatriates.

Amanda Yang Li, CPA, CGA completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Zhejiang University in 1992. Amanda Yang then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from Simon Fraser University in 2002. In 2005, Amanda completed the CPA, CGA certification from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada). Amanda Yang further enhanced their tax expertise by completing the Part I to Part III In-depth Tax Program from CPA Canada between 2005 and 2007.
