Julio Gamez

Julio Gamez is an experienced mining engineer with a robust career spanning over 15 years in various managerial roles within the mining industry. Currently serving as the US Technical Services Manager and Chief Engineer at Equinox Gold Corp. since July 2015, Julio has a history of leadership as Chief Engineer at Western Mesquite Mines Inc. and Superintendent of Engineering and Planning at Minera San Javier and Frisco. Previously, Julio held the position of Head of Engineering at Compañia Minera Dolores, S.A. de C.V. Julio Gamez holds a degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Universidad de Sonora, earned between 1997 and 2002.
