Mari Monteiro

Attorney at Equip for Equality

Mari Monteiro has extensive experience in legal practice and community organizing. Since May 2003, Mari has served as an Attorney at Equip for Equality, following a position as a Legal Intern at Chicago-Kent College of Law's Family Law Clinic from January to May 2003. Prior to this, Mari volunteered as a Law Student at Centro Romero and contributed to community safety initiatives as an Americorps VISTA Leader with the Chicago Alliance for Neighborhood Safety, where responsibilities included recruiting and training volunteers. Mari's educational background includes a Doctor of Law (JD) from Chicago-Kent College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in History from St. Olaf College.
