Greg Potter

Greg Potter has extensive experience in the automotive and technology sectors, currently serving as Chief Technology Officer and Executive Manager at the Equipment and Tool Institute since September 1997, with prior leadership roles including Past President of the Board of Directors. At SAE International, Greg contributes as a Technology Expert and serves as Chairman of the J1978 committee, supporting ANSI US Technical Advisory Group to ISO. Previous positions include Director of Sales for DG Technologies, and Director of Global Product Management & Development at Chief Automotive Technologies, where responsibilities included managing OEM relationships and product development. Furthermore, Greg held various managerial roles at Snap On Tools and SPX Corporation, focusing on sales and service tools. Education includes an MBA and BSEE from Lawrence Technological University, alongside an Associate of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Schoolcraft College.
