Rhonwen Beesley has a diverse work experience in operations and management roles. Rhonwen is currently working as the Operations Director at Equipsme since November 2018. In this role, they are responsible for the operational preparation for going to market, creation and implementation of operational deliverables, and negotiations with capacity providers and investors.
Prior to Equipsme, Rhonwen worked at Xchanging from 2010 to 2015. Rhonwen served as the Head of Claims Operations (UK Insurance), where they effectively managed complex operational processes and was responsible for operational control, system enhancements, and operational MI. Rhonwen also worked as an Operations Manager at Xchanging, where they created a Target Operating Model and represented Xchanging in the market and contract negotiations.
Before Xchanging, Rhonwen worked at DUAL International Limited as the Global Operations Manager from 2006 to 2010. In that role, they focused on developing a strategic operations platform, implementing a global internal audit function, and working with the business to define and respond to essential requirements.
Rhonwen'searlier work experience includes roles at International SOS as the Operations Manager, FCO and Claims Manager. In these positions, they successfully implemented contracts, built client relationships, turned around a loss-making department, implemented new claims software, and implemented performance tracking programs.
Throughout their career, Rhonwen has demonstrated their expertise in operations, system enhancements, negotiation, and strategic planning.
Rhonwen Beesley completed their education with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Rand Afrikaans University, which they pursued from 1999 to 2003. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Law from the same institution between 1995 and 1999. Rhonwen attended Principia College in 1994, where they studied Liberal Arts and Sciences and earned a degree in Liberal Arts. Lastly, their secondary education took place at Edenvale High School from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained their Matric qualification, with a focus on English, Afrikaans, Maths, Science, History, and Geography.
