Gloria Garcia

Gloria Garcia has extensive experience in education, currently serving as a Middle School Teacher at Libertas College Preparatory Charter School since 2019 and as a Teacher at Equitas Academy Charter Schools since October 2018. Previously, Gloria taught 5th Grade at Valiente College Preparatory for a brief period in 2018, and earlier served as an Enrichment Teacher for 4th to 7th graders at the same institution. From 2008 to 2017, Gloria worked at Kipp Adelante Preparatory Academy, instructing 7th and 8th grade English Language Arts, history, and science, while also teaching character education related to social justice. Experience at Mary McLeod Bethune Middle School involved teaching ELA, science, and history through Teach for America. Gloria holds a Master of Arts in Elementary Education from Loyola Marymount University and a Bachelor of Arts in Hispanic-American Studies from San Diego State University.
