Mark Goeman

Mr. Goeman has more than 40 years of experience in engineering design tools support, AutoCAD software customization/programming, and file translation from one CAD format to another. He has experience in piping systems design, piping specification development for 3D systems, and developing software applications.

His engineering tools knowledge includes SmartPlant 3D, Bentley AutoPLANT 3D, Navisworks, AutoCAD, MicroStation V7 & V8i, Axiom, Visual Basic, AutoLISP/Visual LISP, and CATS.

Before joining E2G, he managed a global group responsible for the support of SmartPlant schematic tools, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and MicroStation. Other responsibilities included managing the Bentley Engineering software global transition through a divestiture from the EPC sale to another company as well as serving in the role of Piping Systems CAD Coordinator on various engineering projects.

In the area of software application development, Mr. Goeman has designed tools for data extraction from AutoCAD drawings including PFDs, PIDs, isometrics, and discipline-specific layouts. He has developed tools for database-driven RBI data placement and export in PFDs and corrosion monitoring symbology/data in isometric drawings.

Mr. Goeman has experience with the systemization/circularization of drawings in Bluebeam Revu utilizing a custom columns table and systemization/circularization of drawings in AutoCAD. He has also developed tools to extract a piping line list per circuit from AutoCAD circuitized drawings.
