Ata Azarshahi

Ata Azarshahi has extensive experience in the insurance and financial industry. Ata is currently serving as the President and Chief Executive Officer at Equity Services, Inc., where they are responsible for the day-to-day operations and setting the strategic direction of the firm.

Prior to their current role, Ata held various positions at National Life Group, including Senior Vice President of Life & Annuity Solutions, Vice President and Chief Product Officer of the Retirement Division, and Vice President of Strategy and Business Development for the Retirement businesses. In these roles, they were responsible for product development, pricing, state filings, system implementation, distribution financing, and strategic planning.

Before joining National Life Group, Ata worked at ING Group, N.V. as the General Manager and Head of Product Solutions & Innovation. In this role, they were responsible for creating innovative product value propositions for wealth management, protection, and health markets.

Ata also gained experience at ING Group N.V. as the Chief Executive Officer of ING VA Europe, where they led the business development of ING Variable Annuities across European countries and was responsible for actuarial pricing and project management.

Earlier in their career, Ata held positions at Legacy Marketing, Transamerica, Security First Group, and Pacific Life, where they gained valuable experience in various roles including Vice President and Assistant Vice President.
