Joe Stolz

Joe Stolz has a strong background in technology and leadership roles. Joe is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Equity Trust Company since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Midland Trust (SD IRAs & 1031s) where they held various positions, including Executive Vice President / Chief Technology Officer, Member Board of Directors, and Chief Technology Officer from 2021 to 2023. From 2015 to 2020, they worked as the Business Systems Manager at Midland Trust, where they played a key role in transitioning the company to a cloud-based architecture and implementing a security program. Before that, they served as the Systems Automation Manager at Rabine Group from 2014 to 2015. Joe also has experience as an Independent Contractor at Baston Service Group, where they installed and serviced components for aircraft refueling systems and trained technicians. Additionally, they have a background in ministry as a Youth Pastor at Water's Edge Bible Church from 2008 to 2013.

Joe Stolz attended Appalachian Bible College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible and Theology, with a focus on Pastoral Greek. In terms of additional certifications, Joe obtained a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from Scrum Alliance in February 2020 and a Certified Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201) certification from Salesforce in 2015. Joe is also currently pursuing a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)², with an expected completion in 2023.
