Peggy Heeg

Peggy Heeg has extensive experience in legal and governance roles, currently serving as Chair of the Human Resources & Governance Committee and a member of the Audit Committee at ERCOT since January 2022. Peggy is also a Board Member at WhiteWater Midstream, LLC since 2019. Previously, Peggy held board positions at TC Pipelines, LP and Columbia Pipeline Partners, where responsibilities included involvement in audit and conflict committees. With a legal background as a partner at Reed Smith LLP from 2017 to 2021 and as General Counsel for El Paso Corporation from 1990 to 2003, Peggy has received recognition from Chambers & Partners and Best Lawyers in America in areas such as energy law and corporate governance. Educational qualifications include a J.D. from the University of Louisville and a B.A. in Political Science from the same institution.
