Nicola Riccardi

Nicola Riccardi has a strong background in the renewable energy industry, with extensive experience in business development, operations, and strategy. Nicola is currently the Head of Business Development and M&A for Central-Western Europe and the Nordics at ERG Spa, a role they started in February 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Business Development and M&A for France at ERG Spa from October 2018 to March 2022. In 2018, they also held the position of President at ERG DEVELOPPEMENT FRANCE (formerly EPURON SAS), a subsidiary of ERG France.

Before joining ERG Spa, Nicola was employed at ERG Renew SpA where they held multiple roles. Nicola was the Head of Business Operations Europe from January 2015 to December 2016, and prior to that, they served as the Head of Business Operations + CEO LUKERG Renew GmbH. In this role, they were responsible for international wind development, with a focus on Central Eastern Europe.

Nicola's career in the renewable energy sector began at Edison Spa in 2002, where they worked in emission trading and renewables. Nicola also held a role in strategy and business development during their time at Edison Spa. Prior to that, they had a brief stint at McKinsey & Co. Italy as a consultant.

Nicola'sexperience also includes roles at ERG Spa, where they served as a Business Development Manager from May 2008 to June 2011, and as part of the Corporate Strategy & Development team from September 2006 to April 2008.
