Waqas Ali

Waqas Ali is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the telecommunications industry. Currently, Waqas holds the position of Senior Software Engineer at Cradlepoint since April 2022. Prior to this, Waqas worked at u-blox from March 2018 to April 2022, focusing on maintaining the IP subsystem component of cellular modems and integrating third-party TCP/IP stacks. Waqas also served as a Resident Signature Developer at Sandvine from August 2016 to March 2018, specializing in signature development. Earlier roles at u-blox from November 2009 to August 2016 included work as a Senior Specialist Engineer, where Waqas contributed to various system-wide tasks and optimization efforts for the LTE Protocol Stack. Waqas's career began as an Embedded Engineer and Research Assistant at the Center for Advanced Research in Engineering (CARE) from June 2008 to November 2009. Waqas holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST).
