Adam Royer has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in surgical services. Adam began their career at Parkridge Health System in 2003 as a Director of Surgical Services and was promoted to Executive Director in 2007. Adam held various executive positions at Parkridge Health System, including Executive Director of Surgical Services and eventually left in 2010.
Adam then joined Erlanger Health System in 2010 as an Administrator for Surgical Services. Adam held this position for almost a decade before being promoted to Sr. Director of Surgical Services in 2019. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Operations at Erlanger Health System.
Adam Royer has a diverse education history. Adam earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga from 1988 to 1993. Adam further pursued their education by obtaining a Diploma in Basic Police Training Course from The University of Alabama in 1994, and a Diploma in Emergency Medical Technician - Basic from Alabama Fire College in the same year. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Hospital Administration from the University of St. Francis from 2003 to 2006. Additionally, Adam Royer has acquired several certifications throughout their career, including Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN®), Emergency Medical Technician - Tactical (EMT-T) Advance, Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Emergency Medical Technician - Tactical (EMT-T), Healthcare Provider (CPR), ACLS Provider, and Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses.
