Al Hocking

Al Hocking is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management. Currently serving as a Partner and Regional Health & Safety Services Lead at ERM since October 2006, Al oversees a wide range of H&S services across EMEA, emphasizing safety in high-hazard sectors and enhancing HSE leadership for multinational businesses. Previous roles at ERM included leading health and safety services in Northern Europe and contributing to the oil and gas sector from the Aberdeen office. Prior experience includes working as a Senior Environmental Consultant at Enviros, where managed projects for various public and private clients, and as a Construction & Commercial Manager at Laing O'Rourke. Al holds a Master’s degree in Pollution & Environmental Control from The University of Manchester and various certifications in occupational safety and health.
